Attached is a copy of the catalogues of the medieval and later documents associated with the cathedral and bishopric held in Archives and Special Collections at Durham University Library (.pdf 207kb click on underlined text) These are extracted from their website.

list of 13th/14th-century deeds relating Hetton
extracted from the Durham County Record Office catalogue of the Greenwell Deeds which the record office holds. These documents contain some interesting topographic details field names and a boundary
description which may repay further scrutiny in a future meeting. For some reason the online catalogue only covers about a third of the
Greenwell Deeds at DCRO and there are one or two others which cover Hetton. The full catalogue was published as a volume of Archaeological Aeliana in 1927 (the DCRO online version is essentially just a partial
copy). (.pdf 208kb Click Here)
